I was introduced to Roger by my wife who also engaged his services. “I met Mr. Roger Lim at a talk hosted by National Library Board when he was invited to speak for a series of financial literacy programs. I attended his talk on the topic “Investment – Risks vs Returns” on 16-Nov-2013 at Bishan Public Library. Initially I had some investments from the banks so decided to look for a professional financial planner to look into my overall financial plan. In order to know his company better, I specially took leave to visit his company at Shenton Way, before deciding to engage his service.
Roger paid attention to my needs and conducted a detailed fact find session to understand my financial situation. In the next meeting, he helped to consolidate my insurance policies and investment before making his recommendations to cover my protection shortfall. As for my investments, it also came to my attention that those funds which I bought from the banks were pretty high risks. Such funds were absolutely not matching my risk profile. I then decided to transfer out these funds over to his company whereby they will take over the management and re-balance to a new portfolio, for a fee. Thereafter, they have regularly reviewed my investments and provide active management. I did not have such a service rendered previously by my banks.
